Natural Remedy to Stay Hydrated!

Eating water-rich fruits and vegetables is a flavorful and nutritious way to stay hydrated. Water content in these foods contributes to overall fluid intake and supports hydration.

Besides water, fruits and vegetables offer a wide array of nutrients essential for health. For example, cucumber, spinach and iceberg lettuce contain 96% water; radish and zucchini contain 95%. On the other hand, watermelon, strawberries, and sweet pepper contain 92% water; we can find 87% water in pineapple, orange and raspberries... these vegetables and fruits have high water content and are rich in vitamins and minerals. The high water content can help increase feelings of fullness.

Remember to include a rainbow of fruits and vegetables in your diet to enjoy the benefits of their water content along with the spectrum of nutrients they provide.

Vegetables and fruits are indeed excellent sources of water, in addition to providing essential vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants.
